Retribution Aura hotfix and Wowhead's item data of 10 October
Only the game changed: every build keeps its gear, talents and rotation unless the update touches it, so a move is the update's own. Blizzard's Retribution Aura fix moves the tanks' threat (only a tank is struck) and a new ring helps a few casters; the builds either touches were re-optimised for it and are marked.

What changed
Simulator ac5b545 → 5089a4d
- GameRetribution Aura (Blizzard, 8 October): it now uses the casting paladin's spell power instead of the struck target's, its base damage is back to Vanilla's (20 at rank 5, was 30) and its spell power ratio is 6% (was 13.3%). The benchmark's aura comes from a Retribution paladin with 715 Holy spell power (the benchmark's own Retribution build): 63 Holy damage to the attacker for every hit a tank takes, where the tank's own spell power used to count, so Protection paladins lose threat and the warriors and bears gain a little.Blizzard: WoW Forever beta development notes (8 October, Paladin)
- GameWowhead's Forever item data of 10 October: 25 items added and 193 changed. Maiden's Circle, a level-61 ring, joins the pre-raid pool and suits a few casters; the 20 new Forever items (Archmagister's Faceted Pendant, Spine of the Devourer, the Violet Sorcerer's pieces and others) are not in the simulator's item data yet, so no set can wear them. No benchmark set wore a changed item.Simulator data: Wowhead Forever data of 10 OctoberWhat changed in that data
- GameNot in this update: the client's own spell and item tables of builds 1.60.1.70291 and 1.60.1.70334, among them the Thorns revert of 8 October and those 20 new Forever items. The simulator's data is still build 70245's with the hotfixes of 8 October; the newer tables come with its next data rebuild, as an update of their own.Simulator data: client build 1.60.1.70334

Each list is the rankings’ of that day: one row per spec, the best of its builds, ranked by its role’s number. A spec whose best build is another build than before is marked, and its change is the spec’s. Both sides are the benchmark’s simulations of each build’s optimised setup on 1 boss · 1 min.
